The 2024 Season will feature a new work made for the Taube Atrium Theater paired with the San Francisco premiere of fly through the night, and land near dawn.  The season will feature commissioned music by California composer David A. Jaffe, performed live by Friction Quartet, with lighting/production design by Jack Carpenter and costumes by Sandra Woodall. 

Nancy Karp + Dancers returns to the former ‘rotunda’ of SFMOMA after 40+ years of dancemaking. In 1981, Nancy Karp + Dancers performed the site-specific work Overlapping Lines & Curves at SFMOMA. The work featured 10 dancers, with music composed by Nancy for two pianos and costumes by Jeanne Marc, and set the point of departure for this new site work that will open the program.
